It's here!
The very last paper in the paperchase portion has arrived! We have been approved by the USCIS to adopt a child from China. Tomorrow I will go sign the final paperwork before it is sent off to be authenticated. I am going to repeat myself, but authentication takes about 4 weeks and translation takes about 2 weeks. So, we are hoping to get our dossier to China (DTC) in the last week of February. Please pray that everything continues to go smoothly.

We are praying for you both constantly! Wisdom, guidance and most of all patience. We understand what it means to wait...and wait...and wait. When your child is involved there is nothing more irritating!

So after THESE six weeks, then 16 or so months???
Time can be good and bad, it lets the mind wander and allows for more shopping! YIPEEE!!!
Meedo, yes, after this 6 weeks then 16 MORE months. I have no control over the timeline...bummer! Jill, I have already fallen victim to the shopping. I really do have a lot of time to prepare, but it's so fun to buy!
Well then I think that gives me PLENTY of time to find a Super Banana-esque toy for your daughter!
